SENCON has achieved the RESNET Rater Seal of Quality-RESNET issues a Rater Seal of Quality to its rater members who subscribe to the highest standards. SENCON has committed to RESNET that we will meet the highest standards of ethics and quality. The Residential Energy Services Network's mission is to ensure the success of the building energy performance certification industry, set the standards of quality, and increase the opportunity for ownership of high performance buildings. RESNET's standards are officially recognized by the U.S. mortgage industry, the Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR program, and the U.S. Department of Energy's Building America Program. SENCON is a Building Performance Institute Affiliate (BPI), which means that we are an organization with the appropriate staff and resources qualified by BPI to deliver educational services to expand and certify building performance industry professionals. SENCON is a Federal Tax Credit Verifier - In order to verify a home for the federal tax credit for energy efficient homes and mortgages the certified rater must have professional liability insurance coverage in the amount of at least $500,000. SENCON has achieved this status. As the Home Performance leader in the Hampton Roads Area, we know how to find and fix the energy leaks in all style homes.
