Governor McDonnell Elected Chairman of Energy Board

Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell has been elected as chairman of the Southern States Energy Board (SSEB). McDonnell succeeds Governor Joe Manchin III of West Virginia who has held the position for the past year and succeeds him at a time when Virginia and the South are poised to make great strides in innovations in energy.

Grant Funding to Help Support Local Energy Efficiency and Green Jobs

The non-profit Green Jobs Alliance (GJA) recently secured funding through the U.S. Department of Energy under three separate grants that will bring energy efficiency, green jobs and green jobs training resources to the citizens of Hampton Roads, as well as northeastern North Carolina.
